Submission to the Agricultural Competitiveness Green Paper

Australia's agriculture sector has been, and continues to be, a source of competitive advantage for Australia and makes a strong contribution to our national prosperity.
Our submission calls for the government's Agricultural Competitiveness White Paper to set out a vision to grow the sector and take advantage of the opportunities available to it. This can be achieved through putting in place policy frameworks which will lift the competitiveness of the Australian agriculture sector.
In addition to our submission the Business Council has also specifically responded to most of the policy ideas raised in the Green Paper.
